TARGET AUDIENCE: MCSD Students (10 to 18-years old) and their caregivers
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
First Virtual Mentoring Session (January 9, 2021) 9:00a.m.--10:00amThe GA Fatherhood Initiative and Mentoring committee (FIMC) of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity will conduct a series of virtual mentoring sessions (JAN-JUN 2021 9:00a.m.-10:00a.m.) for students on the second Saturday of each month. Several school officials around the State of GA contacted the GA FIMC with a few starling statistics concerning our students attending virtual schooling (some students are falling behind their peers Statewide). Administrators and Educators attribute this to a diminished level in mentoring since COVID-19. Please share the details about this event with your mentees, local school districts, other civic / social organizations with mentoring groups. Selected panelists (educators, administrators, students, and counselors) will provide strategies and techniques to assist students and parents with “Staying Focus on Academics During the Pandemic".
